Cancel Registration

This page explains how to cancel an existing pilgrim registration in the system.

Overview

The Cancel Registration feature allows you to mark a pilgrim's registration as cancelled when they are no longer able to participate in the pilgrimage. This helps maintain accurate records and manage available slots.

How to Cancel a Pilgrim Registration

To cancel an existing pilgrim registration, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Pilgrim List: Access the main pilgrim management interface
  2. Find the Pilgrim: Use the search functionality to locate the pilgrim whose registration you want to cancel
  3. Open the Action Menu: Click on the action menu next to the pilgrim's record
  4. Select Edit: Choose the Edit option from the action menu to open the edit pilgrim form
  5. Check Cancel Registration: Inside the edit pilgrim form, locate and check the Cancel Registration checkbox
  6. Save Changes: Click the save button to confirm the cancellation

After Cancellation

Once a pilgrim's registration is cancelled, their name will appear greyed out in the pilgrim list to visually indicate their cancelled status.

Important Notes

Cancelling a registration is a significant action. Make sure you have confirmed the cancellation with the pilgrim before proceeding.
